My Story
For a long time, I thought clarity would just arrive.
That one day I would feel completely certain. Completely confident. Completely ready.
What I’ve learned — through ambition, executive leadership, motherhood, reinvention and rebuilding — is that clarity isn’t something we wait for.
It’s something we build.
I began my career at the very bottom — an accounts receivable clerk learning the fundamentals. Over time, I rose into senior and national leadership roles, sitting at executive tables, shaping strategy, leading large teams and carrying full commercial accountability.
I understand performance.
I understand pressure.
And I understand people.
Then I chose something different.
I stepped away to raise my three children and later built and led my own business for a decade. While I’m proud of what we created commercially, what I’m most proud of are the young women who worked alongside me — watching their confidence, intelligence and grit emerge, and seeing the adults they’ve become. That kind of growth matters.
Of all the achievements along the way, what I feel most deeply is pride — in the women I’ve mentored, in the teams I’ve led, and in the confidence I’ve watched unfold in others.
Motherhood, for me, was never passive.
It was leadership of a different kind.
It was mentoring three young humans to think bravely, take risks, work hard, stay grounded and live fully — building foundations strong enough that they could step into the world with confidence.
And let me tell you — they are well on their way. Watching them chase their potential is one of the greatest privileges of my life.
Somewhere in those years, though, I realised something important.
My identity was evolving too.
Not instead of being a mum.
But alongside it.
When the season shifted, I sold the business. It was the right decision — and a hard one. With three teenagers watching, I wanted them to see courage in action. That you can pivot. That you can start again. That growth doesn’t have an expiry date.
So I did.
I re-entered the workforce intentionally, starting back in accounts payable — by choice — and rebuilt from the inside out. Within two years, I stepped back into national portfolio leadership, guiding strategy, empowering teams and leading with trust.
Because for me, leadership has never just been about results.
It’s about growth.
It’s about people.
It’s about backing yourself — especially when it would be easier not to.
That’s why I created this space.
Not because I’ve always been fearless.
But because I’ve learned how to evolve — and move forward anyway.
You don’t have to have it all figured out.
You just have to be willing to begin.
If you’re here, something in you is already ready.
And I’m so glad you found your way here, let’s do this together.
